New Names

Without any doubt, you are aware that in 2001 our company Stork Services B.V. was sold to Stibbe Management, a Dutch Industrial Holding company and such is part of the Stibbe Management division, "Marine and Power".

 Due to the excellent relationship between Stibbe Management and Stork N.V., we agreed to use the Stork brand name for a transition period.

Now it is our pleasure to introduce our new name: We want to become known in the market as SSM-Europe and SSM-Asia.

The new names are scheduled to be official as per 24th of april 2006. To get used to the new name, there will be a transition period of 6-9 months. During this period both the old and new logo will be shown side by side on our letterhead, mails, faxes, quotations etc.

Official registered name for SSM-Europe is Spares Services Maritime B.V. and for SSM-Asia is SSMA Pte. Ltd. Telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged.

New appointment of Rob Schriel

It's a pleasure to announce to you the appointment per April 1st 2006 of Rob Schriel as Business Unit Manager Stork Services (Maritime) BV in Schiedam, the Netherlands (within short re-named to SSM-Europe).
Rob will carry overall responsibility for our commercial activities in Schiedam, the Netherlands, with the objective to further develop successful relationships with our customers. Rob brings to our business an extensive experience in technical and marine sales and business development (a.o. IHC and Westfalia). In this role Rob wil report to me.
I am confident that by strengtening our experienced team with Rob's appointment we will be able to successfully increase our joint business successes.

Stork Services introduces NEW PRODUCTS:

MAN-B&W L/S50MC(E):
At the end of 2003 Stork Services introduced a new product. Spare parts for MAN-B&W engine types L and S 50MC(E). A large stock of all wear and tear and main parts is available from Rotterdam. In the near future also such stock will be available from our warehouse in Singapore.
Stork Services is able to identify the item-plate numbers of all licensees. With regard to Japanese licensees we have to make some reservations, however if we have doubts about the correct identification, we will certainly inform you.
The parts are originating from official licensees and approved sub-suppliers and with class approval if applicable.

MAN-B&W L/S60MC(E):
Since February 2005 we have extended our MAN-B&W program with spare parts from stock for L/S60MC(E). For these parts the same applies as writte above.
